About the role
Join our Critical Care Step-Down Unit to provide specialized nursing care for patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. The unit has 24 beds and utilizes advanced technology such as patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities
- EKG interpretation
- Central line care
- Assist with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies
- Apply critical thinking, delegation, and time management while working with a team of PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT, and OT
Qualifications
- RN licensure in Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- BSN preferred
