About the Role

The Medical/Surgical Unit at Stephens Hospital cares for patients across the lifespan—from pediatrics through end-of-life care. This diverse patient population provides nurses with the opportunity to expand their clinical expertise while caring for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs. As a member of the team, you'll work closely with an interdisciplinary group of nurses, providers, therapists, and support staff who are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services and education to the communities we serve. Teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

  • One year of recent RN experience required.

Skills

Experienced RNs with at least one year of nursing experience who enjoy variety in their practice, value collaboration, and are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

Benefits

This position offers a $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and a $20,000 bonus for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

Pay

Full-time 36 hours, working 3 days per week, 12-hour shift with every 3rd weekend 7pm to 7am.
