About the role
As a Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical joining Los Alamos Medical Center, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process within established scope and standards, including medication administration, treatments, and daily living assistance.
- Maintains accurate documentation and communicates patient conditions, responding to status changes and prioritizing care based on urgency.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care, transfers, and discharges, addressing psychosocial and spiritual needs.
- Educates patients and families based on individual needs and advocates for their physical and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Current state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
Schedule
Nights 7p-7a, rotating weekends, every + on call, holidays, etc.
