Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Auxiliaries patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Pay

Base compensation plus a retainer bonus available to well qualified applicants.

Schedule

3x12, Days (6:30P-7a), Rotating Weekends

Commitment
