Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse, providing care for patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis. Responsibilities include utilizing skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, managing rescue Bi-Pap, high flow oxygen, trachs, and vents, and assisting with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Work alongside Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT in a 24-bed unit. Utilize critical thinking, delegation, and time management skills to deliver quality patient care. All Critical Care units feature advanced technology, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months. A BSN is preferred. Full-time shifts are 72 hours bi-weekly, with rotating days and holidays.
