About the role
We are seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a med-surg setting, with cross-training to the emergency department. This is a unionized role with no holiday or call obligations.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and delivering nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Delegating care tasks to qualified nursing personnel
- Responding to emergencies and assisting with safe patient transportation
- Contributing to compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications
- BSN or ADN from an accredited institution
- Current nursing license in the appropriate state
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification, with additional certifications such as ACLS, CALS, TNCC, and PALS obtained within specified timeframes
- Preferred minimum of one year of RN experience
