Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - $33-44 per hour

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg provides high-quality patient care while coordinating transfer center operations. Key Responsibilities Manage patient transfers from initial call to discharge and follow-up, ensuring smooth communication among physicians, nurses, and medical teams.Respond promptly to transfer referrals, communicate with receiving and sending facilities, and facilitate patient admission processes.Assist with educational programs for nursing staff and support physician-to-physician communication.Support transport arrangements, including air and ground transfers, and ensure proper documentation and follow-up. Qualifications & Skills Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent; current RN license in Arizona or a compact state; BLS certification.Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, experience in ER/Trauma, Neurosciences, or Cardiovascular units, and certifications like ACLS, CCRN, CEN, or CNRN.Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to interact effectively with diverse teams, patients, and families.
