About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg position.
Responsibilities
- Providing, promoting, and maintaining high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans within designated timeframes.
- Performing patient interventions proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competency.
- Managing emergency situations with appropriate treatment.
- Verifying and reconciling orders, schedules, and consent forms during hospitalization.
- Administering medications and IV therapy following policies, monitoring for adverse reactions, and ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Valid Multi-State RN License or equivalent, with application to obtain the license in the resident state if needed.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification (must be obtained within 7 days of hire).
- Basic Rhythms training during orientation.
- Relevant clinical experience as determined acceptable.
