About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg role, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans within designated timeframes
- Performing patient interventions with proficiency and age-specific competence
- Responding effectively to emergency situations
- Verifying orders for accuracy, managing medication and IV therapies, and ensuring proper documentation
- Monitoring for adverse reactions, especially after medication administration
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to promote patient safety and care quality
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- Valid Multi-State RN License or license from a compact state with application for multi-state licensure within 30 days
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire
Skills
- Strong clinical experience and competency in patient care
- Ability to perform procedures accurately and efficiently
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
