About the role

Join the 2MESG Team at St. Luke’s South Shore in Cudahy, WI. This 28‑bed inpatient unit specializes in caring for older adults—primarily patients aged 70 and above—while also serving individuals of all ages with cardiac and neurological conditions. You will manage a wide range of diagnoses including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, strokes, TIAs, and seizure disorders in a dynamic environment that emphasizes compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to deliver high‑quality care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum of care.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• New graduates are welcomed.

Pay

$11 hourly premium for hours worked between Friday and Sunday.
