About the role

Join the 2MESG Team at St. Luke’s South Shore in Cudahy, WI! This 28-bed inpatient unit specializes in caring for older adults—primarily patients aged 70 and above—while also serving individuals of all ages with cardiac and neurological conditions. You’ll gain experience managing a wide range of diagnoses including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, strokes, TIAs, and seizure disorders.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• New grads welcomed!
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Pay

$11 hourly premium for hours worked between Fri-Sunday
