Pay

The pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

This is an Hourly position.

Overview

Sign-On Bonus Eligible! $15,000 with a 1 year work commitment (new graduates & external candidates)

Limited Weekend Requirements
Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter
0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts
4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts
10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts
15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts

Generous PTO Plan
Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive a bonus of 40 hours of Paid Time Off frontloaded on day 1. This is in addition to our generous PTO plan where you begin accrual on your first day.

Competitive Compensation
Pay range for this position is $32.08-$48.73. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

Stackable Pay Incentives
This position includes a night shift differential of $4.00/hr, and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY

The nurse resident engages in a 12-month program that offers new graduate nurses a place of BELONGING where they can learn, grow, and thrive as they transition from students to safe and competent professionals. The residency program provides dedicated preceptors, workshops, mentorship, connection time, and well-being sessions. OSF Healthcare is committed to empowering nurses with the resources necessary to deliver compassionate and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: N/A
  • Licensure/Certification: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
  • Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: BSN preferred
  • Experience: Experience with information systems and technology in the healthcare industry
  • Licensure/Certification: N/A

Less than 6-months of continuous registered nurse employment in an acute care setting.
