About the unit
Abdominal Transplant & Hepatology is a 32-bed inpatient Medical-Surgical unit with a national reputation for Intra-abdominal Transplants (Liver, Kidney and Pancreas), Hepatology, Vascular Surgery and Pulmonary Pre/Post Transplant, with all private rooms. Specific patient diagnoses include ETOH cirrhosis, NASH, hepatitis, cystic fibrosis, vascular disease, and liver/kidney/pancreas/lung post-transplant care.
What you'll do
Nursing works with the multidisciplinary team of physicians, pharmacy, physical & occupational therapy, social work/case management, and nutrition to assist the patient and family in their psychosocial and emotional well-being during their stay. Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
We are a team-oriented unit that provides opportunities to manage a wide range of diagnoses and advancement of nursing skills.
Schedule
Full time, 12 Hour Night Shift.
Location
Loyola University Medical Center is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing – BSN or ADN
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
Pay
- BSN Pay Range: $34.76 – $59.92 per hour
- ADN Pay Range: $32.90 – $57.06 per hour
- Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
