About The Department
The Medical Surgical Unit at Montrose Regional Health provides care to pediatric and adult patients with medical and surgical conditions. Our highly skilled caregivers hold certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and Chemotherapy to address various patient needs. Special services include chemotherapy administration, physical therapy, nutrition counseling, and hospice care. We also offer advanced resources like ostomy care, weekend infusion services, and discharge and social services to support our patients' recovery and transition back to health.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as an RN in Medical Surgical Unit (preferred).
- New graduates may be considered.
- Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma in Nursing.
- BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS and PALS or ENPC within 9 months.
