Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Days/Nights

About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various clinical settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to restore health, preserve patient dignity, and support autonomy. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizes care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge care.
• Practice cost-effective resource management.
• Prioritize patient safety and promote a safe care environment.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy required; additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS are preferred.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
