About the Team

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility serving patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. Services include:

• 24-hour emergency services
• Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation
• Diagnostic imaging
• Orthopedics, neurosurgery, and urology
• Inpatient behavioral health care for adults experiencing mental health crises, featuring a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans, and continued post-discharge support

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Med Surg RN includes:

• Providing patient care tailored to the age of the patient using the nursing process
• Leading and directing other nursing service personnel
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Demonstrating appropriate skills and abilities based on scope of practice, level of training, and/or licensure to assess, treat, and care for patients

Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN)
• Current Oklahoma RN License
• BLS certification (must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care)
• MAB N-95 fit test (yearly)
• Less than one year of experience is acceptable
