Registered Nurse (RN) Lead - Pediatrics

About the role

This position supports Pediatrics in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh, time split between both sites.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
• Lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
• Push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
• Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
• Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
• May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in nursing that includes experiences in precepting, and acting as a nursing resource.

$38.20 - $57.30 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. This position supports Pediatrics in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh, time split between both sites.
