Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum, providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate care for assigned patients on a per shift basis.
- Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services.
- Support clinical staff competency and manage resources related to patient care.
- Adhere to safety standards, risk management, infection control, and quality improvement protocols.
- Coordinate patient care within medical regimes and discharge patients with optimal care.
- Perform emergency response duties per hospital incident command system and emergency codes.
- Provide high-quality nursing care, oversee clinical operations, ensure safety compliance, and participate in emergency protocols.
- Support staff development and resource management to deliver effective patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure, certification, or registration required by law.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing.
