Job Summary
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — required to start.
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics — required to start.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA.
- Completion of AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an Acute Care/Hospital setting.
- Minimum 1 year of independent RN experience (excluding employer training) in Labor & Delivery Intrapartum, Antepartum, and L&D Operating Room within a hospital.
Preferred Qualifications
- National certification in the area of specialty (preferred but not required).
