About the Role

Provides coordinated nursing care for patients, adhering to established standards and utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient data, analyze health status, and develop personalized care plans aimed at achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Implement care plans, coordinate service delivery, and promote a safe healing environment.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing education and discharge planning for continuity of care.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee nursing team activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and department operations.

Requirements

  • RN licensure in the practice state (required).
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
  • Certifications include CPR/BLS (required), ACLS or ARC-ALS (required), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) (required), and NRP or NALS (required).

Skills

  • Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills essential for supervising staff and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
