About the role
This role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about supporting mothers and families through one of life’s most meaningful experiences.
Responsibilities
- Triage incoming patients and assess maternal and fetal status
- Provide direct care to laboring patients, including monitoring progression and offering emotional and clinical support
- Participate in the delivery of newborns alongside the care team
- Deliver postpartum care to both mother and baby, ensuring safety, comfort, and education
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and clinical best practices
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Working in Labor and Delivery within the past 12 months
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice
- BLS certification is required
