Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor and Delivery for a direct hire position. The unit focuses on Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and NICU, including neonatal transport as needed. This role requires leadership, accountability, and a commitment to delivering respectful, comprehensive care while adhering to safety and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, patient-centered birthing care
• Assessing patients
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Collaborating with healthcare teams
• Administering blood products
• Recognizing emergencies
• Supporting discharge planning
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of labor & delivery experience
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing
• BSN or MSN
• Current RN license in New York
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as applicable
• Knowledge of current healthcare trends
• Strong assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment

Schedule

Three 12-hour evening shifts weekly, with alternating weekends and holidays.
