Registered Nurse (RN) - Internal Medicine Clinic

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing duties and administer medications
• Coordinate patient care activities and assist providers during procedures, exams, and tests
• Ensure proper preparation and maintain sterile conditions during clinical activities
• Monitor, document, and report patient conditions, reactions, and responses to treatments
• Greet patients, conduct assessments, obtain health histories, and prepare patients for examinations
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone and educate patients on health, medications, and wellness
• Maintain exam rooms, ensure supplies are stocked, and perform lab specimen labeling and quality control
• Coordinate appointment scheduling, prioritize emergency cases, and ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license in the practice state
• Effective communication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Visual acuity and hearing ability sufficient to perform job duties

The role involves primarily daytime hours with potential for weekend and evening shifts, along with acute care rotation coverage. Candidates should embody compassion, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
