Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care – Part-Time

Role Overview: This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a telemetry unit with private rooms, focusing on patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities Include Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established standards.Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-care needs, and medication use.Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities, as well as professional development.Developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families, and ensuring effective communication across care transitions.Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Qualifications And Skills Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree, RN license.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.Strong communication, assessment, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness.
