About the role
Join our 18-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to patient ratio. Patients treated on this include those on vents, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA, and a mix of intermediate care.
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Accredited nursing school degree
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred
Qualifications
- Compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring

Pay
$20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus Schedule: 3x12+ Days (7p-7a) rotating weekends/rotating holidays
