Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

About the role

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski is seeking an ICU RN to join their team. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Documents patient care and communicates with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Aids patients with daily activities and educates them on their care.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals for patient care coordination.
• Evaluates patient learning needs and provides appropriate education.
• Works in a high-stress environment and takes appropriate action.

Requirements

• Current Tennessee or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), Handle With Care (HWC), and Basic Arrhythmia courses within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• One year previous ICU experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

$X per hour or $Y per shift, depending on the schedule.
