About the role
The ICU RN position at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski is a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
- Documents patient care and communicates with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Aids patients with daily activities and educates them about their health.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals for patient care coordination.
- Evaluates patient learning needs and educates accordingly.
- Works in a high-stress environment and takes appropriate action.
Requirements
- Current Tennessee or compact state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), Handle With Care (HWC), and Basic Arrhythmia courses within 90 days of hire.
Qualifications
- One year previous experience preferred.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Pay
$10,000 sign-on bonus available to eligible candidates.
