Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Psychiatry Boston - 32 or 36 hrs

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our 16-bed secure Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Boston.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to patients and families in our inpatient psychiatric unit
• Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu
• Providing education to patients and families
• Facilitating group therapies
• Overseeing behavioral health specialist staff

Schedule

• 32 or 36 hours per week
• Variety of shifts including:
  • Day/evening rotating, occasional overnights, every other weekend
  • Nights and every other weekend
  • Day/night rotating and every other weekend
• All positions include rotating holidays

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in nursing
• 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting
• Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred
• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay

The posted pay range reflects Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation at the time of posting. Any base pay offer depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
