Registered Nurse (RN )- Inpatient Psych - 32 hours/week, evening shift

About the role

Leland is an 18-bed DMH/DPH licensed acute psychiatric service located within Beverly Hospital. The mission of the Inpatient Behavioral Health Service is to provide the highest level of professional mental health and substance abuse care within an environment of respect, dignity, and inclusion of our clients and patients in their recovery and rehabilitation. The goal is to help individuals regain independence and reintegrate into their communities, families, and employment. Our staff recognizes the critical importance of integrating care between medicine and behavioral health and actively promotes collaboration between Hospitalists, PDPs, and other medical providers involved in a patient’s care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in nursing preferred from an accredited school of nursing with current professional license registration in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• Competency in the following areas:
  • Psychotropic medication administration and monitoring
  • Drug and alcohol withdrawal management
  • Leading a group
  • De-escalation and restraint management
• Availability to work every other weekend and holiday.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $84.71 per hour. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and compensation is governed by its terms.
