Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on assessments to optimize outcomes.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions.
- Communicates patient conditions effectively to interdisciplinary team members.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals for patient transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.
- Educates patients and families tailored to their age, cultural background, and specific circumstances.
- Delegates care tasks to appropriate personnel and mentors students and new staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain promptly.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care; CCU experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, MOAB preferred.
