Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our 12-bed ICU unit, which provides high-acuity care with an average daily census of 6 patients. The unit maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2. Ideal RN candidates will have prior ICU or stepdown experience, who are outgoing, confident, and eager to learn. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIHSS recommended within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
