About the role
The MH Registered Nurse II - Inpatient Hospice, Sussman House role provides nursing care and coordinates care for terminally ill patients of all ages in their homes utilizing nursing principles, systems, and resources that affect health status and results in maximum outcome achievement.
Responsibilities
- Care for terminally ill patients in their homes
- Utilize nursing principles, systems, and resources to improve health outcomes
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team
- Provide comfort and support to patients and families
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families
- Work in a supportive environment that values dignity, compassion, communication, and respect
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Current BLS certification
- Valid Driver’s License with liability insurance
- One year of recent RN experience
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
