About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, Infection Control to lead and coordinate the hospital's infection prevention program.
Responsibilities
- Managing the infection control department and staff, including hiring, discipline, and evaluation.
- Implementing and enforcing infection surveillance, prevention, and control policies.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of infection prevention activities and interventions.
- Providing education to staff, patients, and families about infection control practices.
- Overseeing surveillance activities and evaluating program outcomes.
- Performing related duties as required to support infection prevention efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, laboratory, or healthcare-related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in infection prevention or related healthcare management roles.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in infection prevention with healthcare background.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required within 2 years of employment.
