Join as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.
Responsibilities
- Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions and responses
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and maintaining accurate electronic records
- Educating patients and families about treatment and discharge instructions
- Following hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
Qualifications
- An active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
