Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU for a critical care unit. Responsibilities: Maintain nursing standards per professional guidelines, participate in performance improvement activities, demonstrate leadership, and provide specialized patient care based on the unit's needs. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred), valid NY State RN license, minimum of two years ICU experience, Basic Life Support and Infection Control training. Certification in specialty is a plus. Skills: Effective communication, proficiency with data systems, and clinical expertise in critical care. Key Duties: Provide high-quality patient care, uphold professional standards, contribute to team and organizational goals, and demonstrate core competencies. This role requires a two-year commitment to a critical care float pool, with scheduled night shifts, alternate weekends, and hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, earning an hourly rate of $75.15, subject to variation based on experience and shift differentials. The position emphasizes professional development, leadership, and adherence to ethical nursing practices in a hospital setting.
