Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in the ICU.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic study results.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital; critical care experience preferred.
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

The reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $50.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
