Registered Nurse (RN) | Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing - Full time

About the role

Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is a skilled nursing community located in the peaceful town of Middlebury, Vermont. We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and physical therapy as needed.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement care plans.
• Document resident care in a timely and accurate manner using electronic health records.
• Collaborate with LPNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding nursing practices and patient safety.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current CPR certification.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Pay

• Hourly rate of pay with additional shift differentials.
• Per Diem: $2/hour
• Evening: $3/hour
• Night: $5/hour
• Weekend: $2/hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials)

Schedule

• Various shifts available, including per diem and part time positions.
• No on-call responsibilities.
