Registered Nurse, RN - General Med/Surg 2

About the role
Nurses on this unit care for patients with diagnoses including (but not limited to) post-surgical recovery, infections, GI conditions, respiratory issues, renal concerns, and general medical needs. This is an ideal setting for nurses who enjoy variety, developing clinical judgment, and making a meaningful impact in patient care every day.
Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels
- Administering medications, including IV therapies and antibiotics
- Supporting post-operative recovery and ongoing medical management
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in real time
- Collaborating with physicians, case management, therapy services, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educating patients and families to support safe discharge planning
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
- 4-year/Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state (required)
- One year of relevant experience (preferred)
If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Schedule
Full-time positions available for both day and night shifts.
