Registered Nurse (RN) / Full-Time Nights - $15,000 Sign On Bonus

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Pittsburgh (inside UPMC Montefiore)

Schedule

Full Time, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Night Shift (no rotating shifts)

Pay

Up to $55.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends. $15,000 sign-on bonus. Free parking.

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical-illness recovery hospital providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses (RNs) play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent treatment during some of the most vulnerable moments of patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately
• Respond competently to Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients and families
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Preferred: Clinical experience
