Registered Nurse (RN) (FT) NIGHT SHIFT

About the role

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 133‑bed acute psychiatric care facility in Flowood, Mississippi, providing inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment for adults, children, and adolescents. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and certified by Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE®. As a Registered Nurse on the night shift, you will deliver hands‑on patient care, guide patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning, and uphold high standards of professional nursing while contributing to philosophy, education, and quality‑management efforts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on patient care in the assigned unit.
• Provide, direct, and guide patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for the specific patient population served.
• Maintain high standards of professional nursing.
• Support the hospital’s philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and Quality Management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum: Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in mental health or a related field.

Pay

Eligible for a $15,000.00 sign‑on bonus.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7 P.M. – 7 A.M.
• 36 hours per week (full‑time).
• Opportunity for overtime and to cover additional shifts if interested.
• Required attendance at orientation: Week 1 – Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM; Week 2 – Monday‑Tuesday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM.
