Registered Nurse (RN) FT inpt days psych

About the role

This position promotes and restores patients' mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process. RNs participate in the care plans of our patients and their wrap-around services. They provide physical and psychological support to patients and provide clinical leadership for other staff on the unit. RNs maintain a hopeful and positive attitude in problem-solving and coping, while promoting and maintaining harmonious and effective relationships and communications with patients. They serve as a role model to staff, promoting Wellfound Values, a positive work environment, and efficient, quality patient care.

Schedule

• .9 FTE (three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends)

Pay

• Hourly rate: $41.12–$76.24 based on the union scale for experience
• Shift differentials: $4.25 for nights and $3.00 for weekends
• Sign-on bonus: $12,500 payable over one year with a one-year commitment
• Relocation reimbursement available

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Washington State RN license without restrictions or accepted compact license
• One year of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience
• Strong nursing assessment skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Union membership required within 30 calendar days of employment (SEIU Union; religious exemptions may apply)
