About the role
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care across multiple inpatient units including Med-Surg, IMC, PCU, CCU, and Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Utilize clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices to ensure safe patient care.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, pain, and responses to treatments.
- Develop individualized care plans, discharge instructions, and patient/family education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through daily huddles and care discussions.
- Delegate tasks, maintain effective communication, and follow hospital protocols.
- Promote patient safety and satisfaction through hourly rounding and a therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- Current Maryland RN license or eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an IMC or higher-acuity setting.
