About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) First Assist to provide direct patient care in the surgical environment, collaborating with surgeons and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes. The RNFA works under the surgeon's supervision during intraoperative procedures and must not perform scrub nurse duties concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgeries
- Work closely with surgical teams
- Ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards
- Valid RN license in California
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- CNOR certification
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the specialty area
- Certification as a CRNFA
