Registered Nurse (RN) - Family Medicine Clinic
About the role
Aurora Family Medicine at 200 E. Ryan Rd., Oak Creek is a full-service primary care clinic providing preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, acute illness treatment, and chronic disease management for patients of all ages. The clinic's family medicine physicians and nurse practitioners deliver coordinated care for conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, obesity, and thyroid disorders, while offering referrals to specialists when needed.
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

With more than 350 locations across Illinois and Wisconsin, AMG offers a wide range of specialties and services, including primary care, medical and surgical care, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, and more. The actual compensation offered in the Pay Range of $35.50-$53.25 and will be based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience and/or training.
Schedule
This position supports onsite Family Practice and Pediatric Triage and site Anti-coagulation for our Oak Creek location off of Ryan Rd. Hours Per Week 20. Schedule Details/Additional Information: 0.5 FTE, in person 7:30am-4pm rotating schedule of: Week 1: Monday, Tues, Wed. Week 2 Thursday, Friday.
