About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate RN to join our Post-Surgical Inpatient Unit, primarily caring for orthopedic, spine, bariatric, and general surgery patients in a supportive environment committed to nursing excellence, collaboration, open communication, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety
- Coordinate admissions and discharges
- Delegate assignments and manage medications and supplies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalists, Case Management, and Utilization Review
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure in Idaho
- Preferred: prior nursing experience and BSN
- Required: BLS certification; ACLS within six months of employment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
- Knowledge of professional nursing standards and documentation requirements
Key Support Features
- 24/7 Hospitalist and Respiratory Therapy support
- Full-time Physical Therapy support during day shifts
- Average patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1 based on acuity
- Schedule published 4 weeks in advance
Schedule
Flexible evening shifts, either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.
