About the role
We are seeking a compassionate RN to join our Post-Surgical Inpatient Unit, primarily caring for orthopedic, spine, bariatric, and general surgery patients.
Schedule
Flexible evening shifts: either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. Schedule is published 4 weeks in advance.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring patient safety
- Coordinating admissions and discharges
- Delegating assignments and managing medications and supplies
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalists, Case Management, and Utilization Review
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Idaho
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification within six months of employment
- Knowledge of professional nursing standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Prior nursing experience (preferred)
- BSN (preferred)
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others

- Average patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1 based on acuity
