As an RN in the Emergency Department (ED), you will operate within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.

Responsibilities

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
  • Operates within a trauma III hospital setting.

Requirements

  • A current Arizona or compact state RN license.
  • An associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Active Arizona or Compact RN License.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications required within 90 days of hire.
  • TNCC required within one year of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Current Arizona or compact state RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications required within 90 days of hire.
  • TNCC required within one year of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
