As an RN in the Emergency Department (ED), you will operate within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.
Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
- Operates within a trauma III hospital setting.
Requirements
- A current Arizona or compact state RN license.
- An associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Active Arizona or Compact RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications required within 90 days of hire.
- TNCC required within one year of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
- Current Arizona or compact state RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications required within 90 days of hire.
- TNCC required within one year of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
