Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department-Full-time NIGHTS
About the Role
Full-time RN position in our 13-bed Emergency Department, which includes 2 Trauma bays at Valley View, a Level III Trauma Hospital located on the Western Slope of Colorado. This role involves evening, night, and rotating weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
The ED RN plans and provides nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Current TNCC certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN Emergency Department experience.
- 2+ years of RN Emergency Room experience is preferred.
Pay
Pay range: $37.50–$56.23/hour (RN-BSN rate). Valley View offers a 4% pay differential for ADN, BSN, or MSN degrees. Starting wage depends on experience, education, and skill set.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential for working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential for working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00 PM–7:30 AM.
- $4.25/hour weekend shift differential for working 5 or more continuous hours between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday.
