Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full-Time Nights

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.Delivering relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and involving patients and families in care planning.Coordinating safe, quality care through effective communication, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare team members.Supporting performance improvement initiatives, participating in research, and promoting evidence-based practices.Mentoring and precepting colleagues to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.Adhering to policies, standards, and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree; clinical experience preferred.Valid RN license; certifications such as BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS required at hire.Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in technology use, including electronic health records (Epic, 3M), Microsoft Office, and data entry.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with professionalism. This role involves proactive patient care, team collaboration, ongoing professional development, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, all aimed at improving patient outcomes.
