Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time Nights

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care across all hospital units, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. You will deliver direct and indirect nursing care, evaluate patient outcomes, and collaborate with physicians to monitor clinical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and reassessments
• Utilize triage processes to prioritize care
• Manage pain effectively
• Educate patients and families
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Float across departments and perform general nursing duties under supervision
• Communicate effectively with the care team

Requirements

• Current NV nursing license
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• At least 2.5 years of ER experience
• PALS certification required within six months of employment
